It all started with crystal meth, influenced by the wrong crowd promising relief from stress. I spiraled into addiction—nervous, temperamental, and violent. Lost my wife, job, and myself with each passing day. My appearance changed, weight dropped, and I hit rock bottom. Alcohol also turned my body into a toxic haven. Isolation became my only solace. In my quest for a way out, the internet became my guide. A doctor’s appointment marked my turning point. Treatment, rehabilitation, and support sessions followed—psychological, social, and family support paving the path to recovery. The pain, both physical and emotional, was excruciating, amplified by society’s judgment. Determined to rebuild, I sought treatment relentlessly, determined to piece together the fragments of my shattered life. Today, the journey continues. My appetite returns, and after two years of insomnia, sleep embraces me again. The unwavering support received empowers me to face society, step by step, reclaiming the normal life I thought was lost forever.
