The Syrian Center for Drug Control (SCDC) is a civil, non-profit, and non-governmental organization dedicated to serving all Syrians. Our primary goal is to combat drug abuse through specialized and positive mechanisms that address all forms of drug misuse. The core mission of the Syrian Center for Drug Control (SCDC) is to develop more effective strategies to combat and treat all forms of drug abuse, including possession and production.

The Syrian Center for Drugs Control (SCDC) aspires to contribute to creating a culture of awareness about the harmful effects of drugs. We believe that our efforts will be a strong catalyst for addicts to break free from drug use, thus ensuring their effective participation in society. The Center also seeks to provide a wide range of essential and integrated services for treatment, care, support and rehabilitation to meet all the needs of the Syrian people, taking into account cultural values & mutual respect, through: - Implementing and developing comprehensive treatment programs according to specific and scientific basis - Establishing and developing preventive programs for people of all age to address all causes of addiction - Strengthening cooperation with public and private sector partners, in order to raise awareness, support relevant legislation and secure treatment & rehabilitation programs - Building national anti-drug capacities in accordance with international best practices - Reducing the social and economic burden of addiction.
